Who am I?
I am a ray of sunshine on a cloudy day.
I am a social chameleon: polite, gracious and unassuming in public, and considerably less well-behaved in private.
I am fodder for the sweetest memories — the type that make us both sigh with delight (and, after the sigh dissolves, you email me to arrange another rendezvous).
I care, and I remember. I remember your birthday, favorite book, the last place you traveled and the spot on your shoulders you like rubbed.
I am a sympathetic ear, a confidant, a friend, a tigress. My touch heals. My smile can light up your life.
I am a lover of puns. (Listen: no one is perfect.)
I am witty, playful, non-judgmental. I believe that being human is messy, confusing, and beautiful. I embrace it all with good humor and a twinkle in my eye.
I am an explorer. I probe the library stacks, comb rocky beaches, lose myself in the forest, slip leaves under a pocket microscope to examine their veins.
I’m optimistic. I don’t know what our time together will be like, but I know it will be wonderful.
