A day in the life
One of the many blessings of being a companion is constantly discovering and re-discovering my own city. I’ve lived in New York City for nine years, but being Shae means I get to see the city through fresh eyes. Clients often visit from out of town or even from other countries — or they are locals simply looking for something fresh and exciting — and I take pride in curating the very best experiences for them, whether their idea of fun is low-key, glamorous, fast-paced, relaxed, gourmet, cozy, expansive, artsy, nerdy, boozy or some combination thereof.
For my most recent photoshoot, I connected with a photographer who specializes in outdoor portraits and street style photography, so I loosely organized the shoot around a day in the life of Shae — highlighting some of my favorite spots around the city, and some of my favorite things to do.
My day starts with an invigorating workout in Bryant Park….
Followed by coffee at Gasoline Alley in SoHo, and a spot of window-shopping…
Followed by an elegant, leisurely lunch at NOMO SOHO…
…And a cozy afternoon spent at the New York Public Library — Schwarzman Building, reading each other passages from our favorite books and finding hidden gems in the stacks.
And then, as day turns into night, we don our finery and head out to an elegant dinner or gala.
